About the Role
You'll report directly to the President and play a critical role in supporting the construction and leadership teams. You'll handle bookkeeping tasks, organize schedules and files, assist with internal communication, and ensure that nothing slips through the cracks. You'll be a core part of the teamjust working from a different location.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks
- Track expenses, reconcile statements, and generate monthly reports
- Prepare invoices and assist with accounts receivable/payable
- Coordinate schedules, calendar events, and internal communications
- Organize files and manage cloud-based systems
- Assist with onboarding documentation and team communications
- Support process tracking using spreadsheets, CRMs, and project tools
- Communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and team members
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in virtual assistant or administrative roles
- QuickBooks experience required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); clear and professional communication
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
- Tech-savvy: able to navigate tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Trello, CRMs
- Bonus: construction or real estate industry experience
Compensation and Benefits
- Remote, full-time position (ideally able to work in time zones close to North America)
- $7$12 CAD per hour, depending on experience
